A wild garden on the edge of open fields

Stage one of a whole-garden design. A new wildlife pond fed by a cascade of boulders, a curved drystone wall with a seat built into it, a circular drystone wall, a pebble-lined rill, and pale gravel paths and stepping stones winding through new planting.

The planting is young and will fill in over the coming seasons. The owners have since asked us back for their front garden too.

Working with both David and Abigail has been an inspiring experience. They have created a garden from a blank canvas providing us with a landscape of which we had no previous conception.

Where it started

Garden pond & cascade

Our first project together, and the one that set the pattern for everything since. A pond and cascade designed to look like it had always been in the landscape, with a native planting scheme to match, and perches set at the heights that dragonflies and birds actually use.

I didn't know that I wanted a pond. In fact, on the day I met David I listed filling in the pond as one of the many jobs I required. He gave me a quote, then a couple of days later he popped round and suggested an alternative. The rest, as they say, is history.

I now have a beautiful wildlife pond with a bespoke, hand-made woven willow fence to make it safe when my three year old granddaughter visits. I can't recommend Wild Again Gardens enough.
